[WARPTIDE] What's this?

Ramune was excited! She was able to dress up as her favorite, furry bug. Not just that, but this was her FIRST Warptide! She bounces out of the house with her adoptive mother, a big smile on her face as they both headed to the forest. Cece was unsure about Ramune's direction into the forest, but she was content. Bouncing into the forest with her mother, it didn't take long to find a painted egg. Ramune stops in her tracks, giving the painted egg a confused look, before slowly creeping up to it. Her mother followed behind with the same confusion. Eventually, Ramune stops to put a claw on the egg. As she did so, something broke inside her.. This egg.. Was just like her. Abandoned.. unwanted.. Left for dead. Cece watches as she couldn't help her adoptive daughter as she shared the same fate, left.. forgotten.

Ramune couldn't lift her claw, her body unresponsive to her own will to move. The egg felt slightly warm to the touch.. but maybe it was already too late..
